frequently asked questions
Do you have a spice level?
Everything except the Red curry, Green curry, and kao soi are not spicy at all.
Everything can be spiced up as you wish.
We have a 1-star to 5-star system… you’ll have to try them out to see where you land on that scale.
1-star is tip of the spoon
5-star is a whole spoon full of our thai chili pepper flakes
if you’re extra brave, you can ask for “Thai hot” which is 10-star equivalent.
“Thai chili pepper flakes?” what’s that?
We roast and crush dried chili peppers (we buy them dried)
We also make a delicious Chili oil from each batch.
it’s especially good with drunken Noodle and Pad See Ue, but you can add it to anything!
How spicy are the red and green Curries?
I always describe them as being about as hot as a traditional medium heat salsa (if that makes sense).

I have an allergY…
If you have any allergy at all, please let us know. We do use peanuts on the Pad Thai, so it is present in the Restaurant. We will try our best not to use anything you may be allergic to, however we will not be held responsible if anything happens as we cannot guarantee it will absolutely not be present. Eat at your own risk if you have any such allergy. We also have shrimp present in many dishes. Please do not eat with us if you have a very severe allergy and are worried about any cross-contamination.
how long will it take to make?
We now have a pager system that has been working well with our customers. After you place your order at the window you can go about freely until you are paged. Main entrees take 8-10 minutes to make each. If you have many of the same item, they can be made together. Up to 4 orders of the same noodle dish, for example, can be made at the same time. The amount of time it takes is multiplied by the variation of each ordered dish, so it can start to take a long time with many variations and many orders. Fai is the only one currently able to make your order so please be patient.
if you have to be somewhere and we are clearly busy, please consider another Restaurant or food option as we do not want to waste your time. We appreciate everyone coming to order regardless. Thank you so much.

Do you have shrimp sauce?

Can i have more sauce?
One cup of spicy chili paste, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or dumpling sauce comes are free with meal purchase. Just ask if you want additional sauces at no extra costs (within reason). The Thai chili flakes are always free! Add at your own risk ;)
